The Story...

This whole thing somewhat started as a accident. I've been wanting to get a lower ride height on my SCX10 for quite some time.

In 2015 there wasn't really any true LCG chassis on the market. Everything I was coming across had higher arches but shorter towers, the vertical distance from shock mount to belly was the same as a stock chassis. This method would actually make the center of gravity worse with everything mounted high besides transmission and motor. Determined to try a low ride height setup without sacrificing suspension up travel I decided on a JCAD Karnage chassis. When receiving it I chopped the shock hoops off and bolted on stock SCX10 Shock hoops to give me roughly 1/4" lower belly height. I ran this for a year, traveled to Florida for events and even to Nevada for the Fix. After a solid year on the chassis I really saw the downfalls in a low belly. The positives were awesome dragging the front portion of the skid area of the chassis could be improved.

Fast forward...I drew up what I wanted for a chassis. There was many interest within the local group on it to promote a small group buy. After the first batch even more people wanted rails, talked to my supplier about another group buy with a 2 week opening on it. Was told go ahead. Got a account full of other people's money and was declined to place the order. Scrambled and found another place to cut and I had to pay the difference in costs to get these for people. That point on I told myself I'll take care of the people that support me and not rely on people that just want to make a extra buck. Strive for fair pricing and plenty of options for anyone. Now we are here with a growing business and a new webstore. Thank you for all who has supported GMRC today and especially the ones from the beginning, Thank you!
